Lead Consultant
Karen Bowlding, a freelance editor, writer, graphic designer, book coach, and publishing consultant. For the past 20 years she focused on writing, editing, and designing all genres of books. Now, her primary focus is to promote childhood literacy.
Karen has authored five books, three for children, and co-authored five children’s books with her twin sister. She writes from her story, her experiences, and knowledge. Each manuscript is inspired from her childhood…from playing outdoors, being an inward-looking introvert, and desiring other children to learn from her experiences. She has many unpublished stories and will continue to write books for children of all ages.
Karen is dedicated to help children’s writers to self-publish diverse and inclusive books that children will enjoy. Her goal/ mission is to lead children to books that inspire, educate, entertain, bring joy, and instill the love of reading.
* Karen may consider editing larger projects based on her availability.
Karen’s clients are grateful for her extensive knowledge and proficiency, attention to detail, and integrity. She sees the big picture! Karen helps new writers find their voice, develop characters, and harmonize the entire creation to ensure consistency and closure.
